Personal Information is any information that is identifiable to a person. We collect information through our App so that we can provide our services to you. To use the App you must provide us with your full name and email address. If you do not provide this information you will not be able to use the App.
We offer a range of functions within the App, some of which collect personal information from you. It is your choice whether you use these functions, and how much personal information you provide. For example, you can add photos, add your age, height, weight, gender, and keep track of your fitness and competition results and goals. We also offer a planner function where you can schedule upcoming events. If you do not want to provide this personal information, you can choose to not use these functions.
If you are a member of Pony Club Australia Ltd (ABN 95 090 080 265) (“Pony Club Australia”) you can choose to provide your membership number when you register to use the App. See the Disclosure section of this Policy for more information about what we will do with this information
Using Personal Information
We may use your personal information to: • Administer the App
• Communicate with you
• Provide our services to you
• Send you marketing communications; and
• Handle any complaints.
We may use personal information for secondary purposes only when that purpose is closely related to the primary purpose. The App has an explicit user management system where we can add, remove or suspend users.
Disclosing Personal Information
We engage a third party to assist us with the App development who will have access to information contained in the App, however they are bound by confidentiality.
1. You have given us your consent to do so.
2. We are required by law to do so.
We do not sell data collected through the App to third parties. App content is hosted on Amazon servers, which are in Australia and around the world including in the United States, Europe, Asia and South America. This means that content uploaded to the App may be stored outside of Australia.
Using pseudonyms and anonymity
You cannot use the App anonymously. You can choose to use the App with a pseudonym, however if you do, it may impact upon our ability to provide services to you.
We maintain reasonable security arrangements to protect personal information from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. However, we cannot guarantee that the security of information transmitted through the App is impenetrable. You are responsible for keeping all passwords confidential and configuring the appropriate control settings on your devices. We will keep your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services to you, or as required by law.
Access to Information
You have the right to access, update or ask us to remove personal information from our possession at any time. Please contact: email@example.com with any inquiries, requests or complaints relating to your personal information. All complaints in relation to personal information will be promptly dealt with. We will endeavour to respond to complaints within 28 days. Our response will include the outcome of our investigations and what steps we intend to take to resolve your concern.
